If a day goes by without my doing something related to photography, it’s as though I’ve neglected something essential to my existence, as though I had forgotten to wake up. (Richard Avedon)
I have started to get in touch with photography in 2008, thanks to a course held by Silvia Camporesi.
Photography completely changed the way I look and watch things, into something more sensitive, empathic and inspired.
I am no longer able to go out without my camera, not because I feel that I have to take pictures, but because I wish I could capture everything that may be fascinating.
Photography is also the way in which I like to express my feelings.
I like all the kind of photography, but in the last year I’ve been dedicating myself to reportage photography, sport photography and wedding photography.
I also exhibited in several expositions in Italy and I work with magazines and Italian (and foreign) websites.
There are a lot of photographers I admire and which inspire me, for example Mario Giacomelli, Luigi Ghirri, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Richard Avedon, Jeanloup Sieff and regarding contemporary photographers Steve McCurry, Gianni Berengo Gardin, Francesco Zizola, Paolo Pellegrin, Antoine d’Agata, Nobuyoshi Araki, Michael Ackerman and many others.
In my free time I love to read, expecially Charles Bukowski, to write, to do sports, to travel and I have been a fanatic of cinema since I was a kid.
